BASF raises prices for certain polyalcohols
BASF is raising the prices for its polyalcohols neopentylglycol (NPG), trimethylolpropane (TMP) and hydroxypivalic acid neopentylglycolester (HPN) worldwide with immediate effect or as allowed by contract:

The price adjustments are necessary to respond to raw material cost increases.
Polyalcohols are widely used in solvent-free coatings as well as in the production of polyurethanes, alkyd resins, unsaturated polyester resins and synthetic lubricants.
