BASF increases prices for isopropanolamines in Europe

With immediate effect, BASF is increasing the sales prices for isopropanolamines (IPOA) in Europe as follows:

 

Monoisopropanolamine (MIPOA)                + 70 €/t

Diisopropanolamine (DIPOA)                     + 70 €/t

Triisopropanolamine (TIPOA)                     + 70 €/t

 

The price increase shall apply to current supply agreements as soon and as far as allowed under their terms and conditions.

 

MIPOA, DIPOA, TIPOA are high-class intermediates used amongst others in the manufacture of process chemicals for gas treatment, cement additives, lubricants, surfactants, agrochemicals and coatings.

 

BASF produces IPOA at its plant in its Verbund site Ludwigshafen, Germany.
