Adipic Acid (AA) |
Adipic acid is a dibasic organic acid. High quality precursors and modern production processes give a product conforming to the most stringent quality standards.
Adipic acid crystallizes to a non-hygroscopic white powder. Bulk crystallized adipic acid can be shipped within Europe by road and rail. Packaged adipic acid powder is shipped worldwide in 20- or 40-foot containers. The standard packaging is 500 kg or 1,000 kg big bags on wooden pallets.
Adipic acid serves as an intermediate for the production of polyester polyols for polyurethane systems and thermoplastic polyurethanes. Major applications include elastomers, flexible foams and rigid foams.
