Photo: Sprayer
Baxxodur PC 136 is a new cycloaliphatic secondary amine used as a chain extender to modify the reactivity of the polyurea system.
It is applied mostly in conjunction with polyetheramines and thus an essential part of the curing system (B-component).

Benefits Applications
  • Faster film property development and green strength than with existing aliphatic compounds (comparable to aromatic amines)
  • Excellent UV and color stability of the film
  • Easy to formulate with various amine systems
  • Slows down gel time allowing for better adhesion, flow and leveling
  • Maintains better film stability at elevated temperatures
  • Light-stable OEM polyurea elastomeric coatings
  • Light-stable polyurethane coatings
  • Light-stable top coats
  • Rapid-curing gel coats with easy demolding
