Testing Facilities: Dedicated and Well Equipped

Large-scale heating tables, infusion and injection units to simulate a variety of processing conditions prevailing at customer facilities.
Composites expertise within BASF extends far beyond epoxy systems. It also includes vast, in-depth experience in thermoplastic and thermoset-based composites.

For the development of new epoxy systems, our ability to easily tap the knowledge and customer focus of these BASF laboratories, which offer top expertise and scientific excellence, is a decisive factor to shorten development cycles and speed up the qualification of epoxy systems.

The Germanischer Lloyd AG, one of the leading certification companies for wind energy facilities, has approved the execution of various tests concerning epoxy systems and composites made out of such systems in BASF owned laboratories.
