BASF has added a specialty polyester to its broad portfolio of intermediates that is already known to the market: Polycaprolactone (PolyCLO). Under the Capromer™ brand, the company offers a range of
high-quality PolyCLO types that serve as building blocks in the production of Polyurethanes, especially
cast elastomers and thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPUs), and as binders for coatings systems and adhesives.

 

Through Capromer, these products acquire essential properties such as flexibility even at low temperatures, hydrolytic stability and exceptional mechanical resistance.
